To the previous commentator, it is not an illegal use of voter registration records for 2 reasons, 1st your number is public and political calls are currently exempt from the do not call list, 2nd anyone can purchase voting registration information from a county clerk or secretary of state

Twice asked for me to confirm a name, which sounds just like the typical "say YES and you get scammed". Identified themselves by their full name and as part of a Democratic political organization. I have never given my phone number to any such organization, which means that this is an unlawful use of the voter registration records and can be prosecuted. It has been reported to the State of Wisconsin.
