Caller stated she was from Directv and that since my account is in good standing that she is offering me free movie channels until May 19th and billing for movie channels would start after that date. I asked her to email me the details of promotion and she said that she couldn't but Directv would let me know to before billing began and I could cancel at that time. She really didn't get in sensitive information but she seemed a little upset when I said,"sounds good to me." Strangely enough I got an email from Directv trying to get me to add movie, sports and upgrade my package. The two were just a coincidence because I did call Directv customer service and they confirmed it was a scam.
