Automated voice claimed to be calling from Blue Cross asking to confirm name then asking for date of birth. Looking online there are a series of scams like this. Could build up to claim that you owe the insurance company some money for an uncovered invoice. All those things are generic it would be hard to verify everything for most people they would likely just pay.

This was an automated call claiming to be from “anthem blue shield”. I called them directly using the number on the back of my insurance card, and they said there were no communications with me in the past 30 days. This should be treated as a SCAM
