This 978 552 6196 number showed up on caller ID as ANTHEM BC. I didn't answer and let it go into voice mail. Robocall with female voice left msg stating they're calling for me [stating my first and last name - so someone is leaking my data] and welcoming me to the new plan. Told me to call back at 833 805 1329. Good I Googled these numbers and got this Robocall result with ppl getting same call from this number, now know to ignore...

Left a voicemail saying they were welcoming me into my new Blue cross plan. It did say my first and last name, but mf who the fuck is calling me from massachusetts?? the voicemail was automated and so suspicious. Blocked!

This number called me and said it was anthem blue cross calling for (my full name) to welcome me to my new plan. I did sign up with Anthem 2 months ago. I didn't answer the call, but this was the short voicemail asking me to call 833-805-1329. That number is not listed on my anthem card so I called Anthem and they said it sounded like a scam. Weird though that the scammer knew my full name and I am new to Anthem.

An automated robot caller claiming to be from Anthem Blue Cross answered first, ask me to say 'Yes or no' to verify my name for the next steps of my new member onboarding. I am technically a new member, so I complied and then got a female person to ask me to verify my birthday and address. I did not comply, they said that they were performing a courtesy call. I told them this call is suspect and I no longer wanted to proceed with the call and ended the call. After I called the number on the back of my insurance card, and got on the phone with another female person form Anthem Blue Cross, after a brief hold, she verified that the number IS NOT associated with Anthem Blue Cross. I may have accidentally agree'd to a "yes scam call" Posting about here to give a fair warning about this number.
