Call sounded like a female robot in the recording. Claims there is a debit and it is being sent to the 'county or district court'. I say then send away! Threats on the phone are illegal #1 and #2 I don't believe it till the papers are served physically. Oh and #3 debt must be sent by mail to prove it. Harrassment on the phone is ridiculous. I can't believe scammers or debt collectors haven't figured this out decades now? The number is also spoofed, making it look like it is coming from a Colorado number where I live. THAT IS ILLEGAL! Definitely a scammer or fake call to me, probably bought decades old debt (can't collect on anything older than 7 years) and trying to lie and bully to get people to pay. NOT HAPPENING! Word to the wise: NEVER answer a phone# you don't recognize. If it is important enough, they will leave a voicemail and that will tell you if it actually is important. Way too much ghosting of numbers and scam/fake calls going on. Be aware, be cautious and do not trust anything said over the phone.

Debt Collector

Asked for "Marissa" told them they had the wrong number. Then she asked who I was, so I asked her who she was as she did not identify herself. Then she said, "this is about a Medicare account" for someone else in your household. I asked for which individual in my household do you wish to speak. There is no person named Marissa here. Asked her to remove my number, told her goodbye and hung up as she persisted. (Call was from a woman, likely from India, who was either in a very busy household or a call bank).
