Like the other commenter, this person also called from this local number countless times. Always leaving a scripted voicemail about sharing important information. As if there aren't multiple better ways to do that. Also, many of the called sound very unprofessional at best, and drunk/high at worst. I am blocking the number.

The lady who called me from "Florida Blue" told me that it was a courtesy call and they needed to explain my plan benefits to me, but needed to confirm my identity first. I asked her to just send me the details in an email. She said "I can't just send you an email, I'll need to confirm your identity first." I told her I'd like to look up the number she was calling from, because I didn't recognize it. She said yeah, they're calling from a local number this time. I told her thanks and goodbye and then immediately called Florida Blue on their 1-800 number. The actual Florida Blue rep looked up 904-507-4674 and confirmed this number is NOT in any of their directories, and said I did the right thing by refusing to give the lady my information. So this is 100% a scam, probably some identity stealing scam. The actual Florida Blue rep told me if they ever need to call me, they would do it from their 1-800.

Same thing just happened to me from +1 (904) 507-4674. Also ‬said they were with Florida Blue, and wanted to go over my benefits and were recording the call and needed to verify information. The call came to my husband's cell, not mine which made NO sense. The caller asked it it were a good time, I said "No. The caller asked when they could call back, I said this evening. She said they were booked, but could call back next week. Please don't give then your personal info. Call Florida Blue directly if you have questions, etc.

‭+1 (904) 507-4674‬ called said they were Tom with Florida Blue. Had called yesterday and left a message. He had my correct name and then said they were recording the call and needed to verify information. asked name, birthday and address. I complied. T.T Once he asked my last four of social I asked "what is this call in regards to?" and the line went silent. Said "Helllllo?" Then hung up. I KNEW it was phishy. I should have never picked up.

It happened to me today, I answered because, Inwork for a company with the same area code. Agenda mentioned we are on a recorded line and we do this information check every quarter, I just said my name then hung up. Felt Something suspicious!!

Someone called this morning from 904-507-4674 and it showed up in the caller ID as Florida Blue, which is my health insurance provider. It was a human (at least I think so) and he said that he was calling from Florida Blue on a recorded line and just needed to confirm some information regarding processing a claim and needed to speak with [my name] and asked if I was [my name]. I answered "Yes" because I thought that it was the real insurance company. The man then said that he needed to verify my identity before proceeding and then he said that their records indicated that I was born in a specific year (which was correct) and asked be for my complete birthday. I then got suspicious and hung up and called the customer service number on the back of my insurance card and they stated that my account was paid and they did not need any information from me and that there was no record of anyone reaching out to me and that the number was not one of theirs. Unfortunately they have a recording of me saying "Yes" when they originally called me -- from now on I will only ask who is calling. Beware!
