Medicare SCAM - Received a call from "Michael Pearson" (with an Arabian accent), Employee ID #8600053, at 903-251-6786 (Robo number), stating he was with the Medicare Benefits Office, and was offering up to $1,500/month in assistance for grocery/utility bills. He was asking for personal information to verify identity, and said he received my information from Medicare directly. However, the personal information he gave, name, phone number, email, and address could be found on public assess/Google. When I asked for the phone number for his benefit office, so I could research if it was legit, he gave me (800) 633-4225...which ends up being (800) Medical. I can find no legitimate business with this phone number. When I told him I would research it, and give him a call back at the number he provided, he said I couldn't call him back because they used robo calling and I wouldn't be able to reach him. I said I would call the 800 number he gave me, and speak with a representative once I researched, and he got mad and hung up. Just another fraud trying to take advantage of the elderly!!!
