Just received a call from this number and it came up Xfinity. I did not answer but Googled the number and saw the comments previously posted. I thought it odd that Xfinity would be calling not (6) days after we closed our Cox account. Just thought I would add my information. I don't answer calls from numbers I do not know or unsure of and this number is now blocked. Just wondering how many more numbers they have up their sleeve.

A guy called got my voicemail never left a message so I returned call he said he is calling from Cox cable. I told him COX doesn’t call customers! Yes they do, he said, called him a SCAMMER he was offended. COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I told him SCAMMER SCAMMER because I heard people in the background speaking in a call center. I used to be a telemarketer. Hung up and I blocked his number and then GOOLED!

I have received numerous calls from 888-893-0768. Caller Id idenifies as Xfinity but they verbally identify themselves as Cox Cable. I dropped Cox and immediately this number started calling and offering me great deals if I would like to continue with the service. I wanted verification from my local Cox Cable office that the offers would be honored locally. A senior specialist at local Cox said no and that they are not affiliated with Xfinity.
