Navy Federal's # starts with (800), not (888). Remainder of phone # is the same. Caller started by reporting fraudulent use of my debit card, then asked for the complete card # to "verify my identity." I hung up on caller then called the real NFCU at (800)842-6328. They verified that they will never call me directly but will send a text alert asking me to call them. They verified that the initial caller was fraudulent.
