Left a message that they are reaching out to Joanne Brown as a final attempt to assist me in resolving my matter in their office before they file a claim. My name is not Joanne Brown and I have had this phone number for more than 20 years so it's not somebody's outdated number. This is the fourth or fifth time they have made this "final" attempt.

8.7.2025 3pm (888)839-5890 Left a message using my full name with middle initial. They have called in the past & it is very disconcerting. They claim it is a Legal Matter against my person in the County where I live. I am a Law Abiding, Faithful Citizen. I dialed the # & AI said choose prompt 1 if I am that person. I pressed prompt 1. The message requested the last 4 digits of my Social Security # to prove my identity. I SAID NOTHING. After a few seconds of me not responding the call abruptly ended. I ask the Mighty Invisible Hand of God to Slap these people/ their organization and all of their wicked behaviors down to the ground, turned into dust, for me and for you. In the Name of The Lord of Hosts. So it shall be. So it is!

Called twice, voice mail, same type of messages as others. a different callback number on the 2nd voicemail, 1st# 888-839-5890 2nd # 888-404-2160 Since July 1, 2025, I've gotten 29 spam calls on my everyday cell and 3 spam/scam calls on my backup cell. If I don't recognize the call number, it goes to voicemail. I have the activeArmor from AT&T Wireless, which catches most of the spam and sends it directly to My VoiceMail.The ones I let go to VM. If no VoiceMail, that fits the profile of both spammers and scammers.

Got a call from this number and they left a voicemail. That voicemail said, “We're reaching out to __________. This is a final attempt to assist you with resolving your matter in our office before we approve the status of filing the claim against you out of _______ county. To avoid the order against your assets, please contact our office immediately at 888-839-5890. That number again is 888-839-5890. Thank you.” They said it was a final attempt, but no previous attempts have ever been made. They didn’t identify who they were, what it was in reference to, or what the name of their company/organization is. I have no outstanding or delinquent debt, so they can’t be a debt collector, (not a legit one, anyhow; which is also obvious by the message they left). They didn’t say what kind of claim they intend to file, or in what court or organization. I’m not going to call 888-839-5890 and I’m going to block the number.

This is not a legal office or legitimate. It is completely fraud and it's listed such by the Harris County, police department and court system. That's what that's other courses in other states that use the same masking number and .message. do not provide any information to them, or acknowledge them.Tell them, do not call if you do answer it.And if they fail to do so, charges and litigation will be pressed against them.

Multiple calls today from multiple numbers including them blocking caller ID. When I asked for the person’s name and address to have my lawyer communicate with them, they hung up. Debt collectors don’t call you threatening legal proceedings. If they have what they need to file, they file and serve you using the constable or a legitimate process server. They first notify you of their claim and if you do not respond in thirty days, they file against you for the debt. If you answer the call or call back, do not give them ANY personal information about yourself. Ask them to stop calling. And tell them to verify the debt with the original debtor’s name, phone number, mailing address, the date of the original debt becoming delinquent, the original amount owed, AND a signed original copy of the end user agreement using the post office for delivery to you. They never do this because it is fraud. If they still are on the line after all of this, ask the person with the debt collector’s bond number is. Only legitimate debt collectors have a bond number issued to them by the Attorney General of the State of Texas to collect debts legally. If calls persist, complain to the Texas AG, Ken Paxton’s office and file a police report for fraud with your city department. Good luck and stay vigilant.

All attempts by this number will be attributed to a fraudulent debt submitted by a questionable debt collector. HunterWarfield will be held accountable for any further correspondence. WestsideHabitats is the company that enlisted them. This is evidence verifying the fraud.

I submitted this on another number they used to call me on. Info is the same: I’ve received 2 attempted calls with the same wording as the other. They called me by my married last name in which I switch back to my maiden name over 16 years ago. They said they’ll take legal action against my assets if I don’t handle this matter. I called the number and it states that it’s a legal assistant (but a no name legal assistance) which is not a debt collector. Legal assistance don’t do debt collection. It was a recording too. They ask for the last 4 of my social and when I didn’t verify it the call ended. Must’ve not got what they were looking for. As a person who works in cybersecurity this is phishing. They are trying obtain information from you to gain access to your accounts. It’s a good idea to check your credit report because they got your information from a the dark web. I put my credit report on lock down ever since I got reports of my information being on the dark web. Be careful and protect yourself.
