This was Interval International calling about one of my memberships there, offering to extend it for less than the online rate (which I logged in to check). "Daniel" had all the data on my accounts, explained the by-phone versus online discounts for different timeframes, and so on. After thinking about it and approving it, he needed only the CVV for the Credit Card we have on file with them, and when I refreshed the page, I saw the extension had happened in the listed expiration dates (for the two components of the one account that was expiring within a year). So I didn't have to give my CC number, etc. (If I had, seeing as I have my CC on file there, I would have presumed this was a scam.) And I saved a bit of $$ for several more years of one of my memberships.
