The number showed up on my caller id as +1 (347) 504-6610 “ACM” and a man left a vm saying his name was Rich Myrtle and he was calling to verify the location of XXXX and to call back at (888) 721-4623 luckily i didnt pick up

Caller identified themselves as Ms. Simpson, from Scott Randolph and Associates - in regards to a social security filing. When I called back 3x, was told Scott Randolph was a lawyer, but they refused to provide his bar number/license. Advised it was against the law to claim a lawyer and my call was recorded and this call along with all information reported to the FTC/Bar Association. Ms. Simpson told me to stop playing and calling into the law office. I told her she was the one playing.

It wasn't a robot, but a male who left a voicemail after calling my cell. He spoke fast, but some of the words I could make out were "collecting," "location," "if I got the wrong number or if I can be of any assistance," so clearly this was/is an attempt to collect money towards a debt, I presume.

They keep calling me asking for someone who has the same last name as me. Don't know how they got my number or last name i told them to stop calling but they wont reported them to the attorney general
