venmo security saying someone was trying to open a new account with my phone number. called 5 times in a row. googled the number ended up here. scam

Called back to back claiming it was Venmo. I pressed a button since they told me to press if I wasnt trying to set up an account. It sent me a text and instructed me to type the number it provided in the phone. I hung up because at that point i knew it was a scam.

Called 5 times in a row. My phone tagged it is spam. It was an automated recording stating someone was trying to set up a venmo account in my name.
