The contractor is paid by the VA to help to Veterans complete their Toxic Exposure Clinical Reminder. It is not a survey. This is part of the PACT Act Executive Order which states that all Veterans must be screened for exposures while serving in the armed forces. If there is not a recorded exposure, this is an opportunity to record the exposure in the Veterans health record. The screeners are health care Employees, RNs, Respiratory Therapist, etc. This a a live call and live medical documentation. The veteran can view the progress notes within 5 minutes after the call. Google: PACT Act for additional information The telephone number used is to expedite services versus using the 1-800 of the VA for the veterans because it has too many options and no ability for the Veteran to leave a message.

Claims to be a Veterans Administration Contractor wanting to ask questions regarding exposure to burn pits, toxic waste, asbestos, etc. Not confirmed if legit or scammer looking for personal information as the VA is asking veterans to report any toxic exposure while active duty. Be aware and don't give personal information.
