These folks called from this 1-888 number, and left a message stating that they have been looking for me..HUMMMM, and they called my number, and said my name wrong, then said that they will be doing a complete investigation if I don't call them back,well I will not call, so they will wait,,,Collection Agencies have 7 years or less to collect,..So the lady who said that she had a HBCS car in 2005, well it's 2025, how are they going to collect????

Call came in as a private number, but my v.m. gave me the number (866-609-4828) that they called from. They left a different number to call back (888-486-7174) and stated it was in regard to a legal investigation and that if a call was not returned, they would pursue further legal action. Multiple searches have all pinpointed this as a scam. I called the original number back and the guy that answered said, "Litigation". I demanded the company name and was given Hammond Legal.

This call is to notify Susan K xxxx that this is an attempt to serve you a notice of action pertaining an investigation being finalized against you for further details on this case against you or to change its active service status please call us back at 888-486-7174 that number again is 888-486-7174 failure to contact them immediately will result in further legal action against you…”
