Collection agency, trying to sound scary by using a Mister Roboto voice generator and calling itself Something - or - Other Law, trying to collect ancient debt. That they "bought" for pennies on the dollar from original creditors or, more probably, from some other collection agency that can't be bothered calling any more. Basically just spam.

i never answer the home phone line. It's got a voice recorder. I only return calls from legitimate callers. Don't answer this spam scam. It's old debt and they can't do fk-all about it. But if you answer, your on the line for it. First they'll ask your name-they are required (by law) to know who they are calling - Repeat their question and say, "Who is calling?" "Who are you calling for?" They will offer you little info. Don't give them any. Either 1) don't answer, 2) hang up immediately, or 3) If they ask for you - your name - Ask, "Who is calling?" They will repeat their ? Ask again - "Who is calling?" give them zero information. say, "Don't you know who you are calling?" Hang up. Block number. 100% scammers.

Threatening to force me into bankruptcy for a debt with a company I've never dealt with in my life. They are absolute scammers who are VERY aggressive and highly convincing. Give them NO information.
