Fraudsters are spoofing 888-345-5509 and 888-345-5510 to show up on Spectrum landline caller ID (which are actual Consumer Cellular numbers) and leaving voicemails requesting unsuspecting victims to call 1-888-213-4142 which is NOT CONSUMER CELLULAR. NEVER CALL 1-888-213-4142 since you will be speaking with SCAMMERS!

Fraudsters are spoofing valid consumer cellular numbers 888-345-5509 and 888-345-5510 to show up on your caller ID. They request you call them back at 888-213-4142. Do not call these scammers as they will attempt to get credit card info, or banking account info or anything else of value that they can sell on the dark web.

Consumer Cellular needs to put up their name with this phone number if they want more people to answer..I don`t pick up unless a name is with the number due to too many scams, etc.

I tried several times to call Consumer Cellular about my new phone, that has serious problems. Just get a recording and had a long wait, 35 minutes one time..Target was no help, they said I had the phone 5 months and was too long for help, and to call consumer cellular..but the phone is just a recording to wait due to large volume. if they are that busy they don`t want my service so I have another provider, and am out the $100. for the 'new' phone.
