Looks like another scam. I’m not even a sprint customer and I don’t like getting these kind of messages.

I was told my phone number is not registered with Boost mobile. I bought it in person, so I know it’s Boost. I’m told my number is with Sprint, I called the 888 211 4727 number, the guy told me that I didn’t have an account but that someone had the same number as me but that it’s alright. I get off the phone, look up the number and all of a sudden it’s an AT&T customer service number. Must be fraud.

The pop up said it was Sprint, but the person calling didn’t speak English and kept the line open for five minutes of recording voicemail. I could hear lots of non-English speakers in the background.

Spoofers using real Sprint return phone number request Sprint PIN to "protect your account." The number really is Sprint customer service, but Sprint is not calling. The frauds spoof Sprint return number to get past your robokiller and to fool you into thinking it really us Sprint. But it's not. This is a scam. I verified.
