Received a message on voice-mail confirming a Bestbuy order. I didn't order anything, so I checked my best buy account and sure enough a MacBook had been fraudulently ordered. The caller called from this number, but left a different number to call back (1-866-392-6271) and also a different order number than the one bestbuy showed online. Thankfully, I was able to cancel the order on the Bestbuy website and changed all my passwords etc. But Bestbuy citibank has been impossible to get a hold of. The security breach had to have taken place on Bestbuy's website.

Asking if i purchased item, said yes. Asked if/where i was picking up in store i said yes. asked wherre i was pciking it up, i literally said nothing, paused./..... cus im not stupid..... not telling someone where im picking up my item i just spent $2000 on so they can fradulently go pick it up... then they just said "this was just a verification call" and hung up... yeah sure thing... SCAM

Within an hour of ordering from bestbuy received multiple calls from the number until I answered. The number called wasn’t the one connected to the Best Buy account. Scammer asked for first name verification and asked to verify I bought a generic of the item I bought (example Xbox/playstation instead of Xbox one or ps5). Then asked what location it was ordered at. When asked why they needed that, they kept repeating the question. Finally hung up on me when I asked why I need to verify that if they work for bestbuy.
