Caller id showed Green Dot Corp. The number seems to match for one of their numbers. However they are a prepaid check account company and they called out of the blue to offer a $2500.00 loan after saying I didn't need one they insisted on linking the offer to the account so I could still use if I change my mind. After verifying some info which they gave and I only said yes or no to at the end they asked for my full social security number which no bank has ever done in my life so seemed a little like a good attempt at fishing for the real info.
