Said they wanted location information but wouldn't give any information

Repeatedly calls and texts myself and other family members seeking location information for a separate family member (not affiliated with any of our numbers). Received a text today, “You now have until 6pm to call our office or this matter will be forwarded without your input and further action may be taken. Please call 866-694-0769.” Seems threatening and scammy to me. I’ve answered one time only; the caller refused to identify themselves or what company they are affiliated with.
