Blue Cross Insurance Company

Recording said they were Anthem Blue Cross, but I've never ever used them before. I stayed on the line to tell them to stop calling me, but after the recording, some woman with a thick India accent immediately asks for my Social Security number and date of birth. Red flags instantly went up in my mind, so as a test, I told her some random numbers as my Social number, and she did not even realize that I told her a fake SSN! Then she wanted to confirm my name and address and again I gave a fake name and fake (non-existent in my city) street address. Again she did not even say that she could not find me in her database. So apparently this call is legit for some people, but India scammers are also hijacking this number to phish for identity theft data!
