SCAM! I blocked a different member that called me with this same voicemail that states they claimed to have sent me certified mail and that they're a debt collector attempting to collect a debt. So now this number calls me with the same exact gimmick when I have never taken a pay day loan in my life and there's nothing on my credit regarding it either.

This seems to be a scam company. I called the number back and the automated system said that they’re recording. I also recorded the call and told the rep I was recording. The rep stated it was to collect a debt and started stating personal detail for a person, but didn’t authenticate who I was. He continually tried to avoid answering questions and bypass my requests for company information. I repeatedly asked for the actual name address and fax number for the company, but he declined to give it. He stated that they had mailed me a notice 45 to 60 days ago regarding a cash advance, but nothing has ever been received and I have USPS informed delivery. I’ve checked and reviewed my mail history and nothing of this nature has ever been received.He continually stated he did not have to give the information and he was following the federal rules, for debt collection. He also stated it was regarding a payday advance, but I don’t have any payday advances. When I check my credit, there’s nothing about whatever this is on there. Remember, just because somebody sounds professional does not mean that they are with a legitimate business. They may be a professional rogue.

The agent spoke at a moderate pace, making sure I understood the options for responding to the notice. They didn't rush the call, which made the intake process feel organized.
