Somehow these people learned I recently moved and disconnected my Verizon Fios service. I started receiving calls about none returned equipment even before the service was disconnected, which should have been a red flag. The people are overseas and have a heavy accent, which also isn't cause for alarm, but the actual information they should have had, they didn't. So, after a few calls to the Real Verizon Customer Service Rep and speaking with someone who took the time to investigate my concern, I was told to ignore any further calls from these people claiming to be from the Verizon equipment collections dept. The equipment I had in service was returned via UPS, and there is proof. It's a bit amazing to me that these jackholes are doing this. I hope this warning gets out to others who may be dealing with this too. Verizon and all of its power should step in and put a stop to this. It's a black eye on them.
