They call and identify themselves as being from Kinetic Credit Union. They ask for you by name. They then ask you to say your name and billing zip code for their records. Seems not unreasonable, right? Thing is, I've Kinetic has a banner on their site: "General Alert: Avoid responding to Kinetic account inquiries via phone or computer, especially those requesting verification. For verification, visit your nearest Kinetic branch in person." I've spoken to Kinetic as well and they verified that this 866 number is NOT them.
