I received a call from this number claiming to be social security on December 5 on my cell they wanted me to call some different number but I never called

This is the absolute worse type of SCAM call. So many people will call this number back because they simply do not know that the SSA does not communicate by phone. Then they pressure the victim with legal threats etc.

I get this call a couple times a month. It is a recorded call and I never answer. Every time they call, they give a different return phone number and they always leave a message.

called at 2:54PM, spam filter alerted me not to pick up, so they left a voicemail stating they were the Social Security Administration and to call them back.

just received a call plus voicemail from this number "By the federal crime investigation department we need to talk to you as soon as possible again this call is from Social Security administration . . . . .etc" from what I have found out - this is a SCAM - so be careful not to call the number and especially not to give any of your private information

I received an automated voicemail and it had incorrect grammar. There is no way it’s real.

100% complete scam saying they were from the Social Security Administration. The woman on the line was from India and had severe background noise. I told her to speak up since I could tell she was in a call center and then she just hung up.
