They claimed to be a debt collector and yet the company they represent is not a legitimate company. She started off real nice and then she lost her mind and started telling me they were going to put bad debt on my credit report for 7 years in the next 24 to 48 hours. So I guess I will wait and see. This debt makes no sense since I had bought a home that same year with no problem. All seemed very strange. Wouldn't send me the original debt information. They had my name, date of birth and supposedly driver's license, but they had the state wrong. Very sketchy.
