I saw an advertisement for an online child development class from University of Arizona while on Snapchat (Social Media app), which was already a red flag, but I entered my information anyway because I was interested in the offer & wanted to find out more. Right away this number, +1 (855) 769-8175 , called me right away regarding the offer and it sounded like a teenage girl which was another red flag. I asked for information about the online class offer and she avoided my question and told me she would transfer my call to admissions to answer any questions I had after confirming my name , street address , & best method of contact. I waited to be transferred to the “admissions office” and another girl that sounded even younger began talking. I don’t remember exactly what she said that confirmed the illegitimacy of the whole operation, but I remember thinking it sounded like some little girls trying really hard to pretend they were customer service professionals. I hung up & blocked the number right away & immediately searched up the University of Arizona online customer service number so I could confirm I was actually speaking with someone from their school. Another thing I noticed, the customer service number for the school & actually ALL the numbers listed for the University had (520) area code, which was yet another red flag. After speaking to a representative from the school I was able to confirm the illegitimacy of the phone number (which was +1 (855) 769-8175) that had previously called me claiming to be the university. Just thought I’d spread the word so people are aware and also to help stop anyone else from becoming a potential victim of this SCAM! Beware & THANK YOU ROBOKILLER! I wouldn’t be able to do that without your help! I wish I would have known about RoboKiller sooner! It would have saved me a lot of trouble. I’m definitely going to be using RoboKillers services from now on & I recommend RoboKiller to anyone and everyone that’s ever been or almost been a victim of a SCAM CALL!
