Received a call today from 1-855-766-8940. My Caller ID showed it as Anthem Blue Cross, which I am a member of. I of course didn't answer the call, I let it go to voice mail. My phone then showed that there was a new voice mail in the cue. I went into my voice mail and all there was, was a blank message. I then googled Anthem's contact phone numbers and called there customer support, at of course a much different number. I ask the agent if the number that had called me was actually an Anthem BC/BS number.... It wasn't... The number 1-855-766-8940 is a scam / phishing call... don't answer it

Caller sounded genuine, was offering a home visit from a physician to assess my health situation, was evasive when I wanted to know why I needed that when I have my regular doctors. She wanted my email address. I said no. She wanted my cell phone number to text me. I said know. I did give her my home address, but then said there were no in-person visits available, only telemed and she pressured me to set it up right away. When I said my schedule was full and I only wanted in-person, she said she'd call another time. The more I think about it, the more I'm sure this is a scam.

Phone # is blocked on my cell but calls go straight to voice mail and it's always "Hi this is Susan, calling from Blue Cross Blue Shield...... your insurance provider....." "Susan" sounds real hesitant about why "she's" calling about my benefits; every message is the same voice fluctuations so you KNOW it's a Robo call which usually equal spam/scam calls.

It's a "ROBO" Caller and there is "No Name Associated With This Number"! In my mind this elevates this call to SCAM! Use Extreme Caution with this Caller!!!
