Robocall claimed to be CVS stating that my local rite aid closed (which is true... 6 months ago!) and I "might have" prescriptions ready for refill. This is blatantly a lie. I literally went to CVS yesterday and picked up all my medications that were ready at the time.

Just a call letting me know my old RiteAid pharmacy in Hellertown closed and my prescription information was automatically forwarded to CVS in Hellertown. Advised me to call if I want them filled there, which I've already done.

This call claimed to be a "virtual assistant" from CVS to inform me that due to Rite Aid's closure, prescriptions have been transferred to the CVS pharmacy. It even verified my name and provided the local address of the store closest to me. It went on to state that I have several prescriptions to refill and asked if I would like to do so. I was already suspicious but said "yes" to see where this all was going. Sure enough, it asked me for my date of birth at which point I hung up and blocked the number. Thousands of Rite Aid Pharmacies nation wide have closed and transferred their customers to CVS. Please be sure to spread the word so that neither you or your loved ones fall victim to this phishing scam.
