Same as the previous two reviews. I was contacted 4/1/25 when I finally called the number back. He stated that I owed a $500 cash advance from 2009!!! He had a lot of personal information, my current and previous address which he said letters were mailed to both. He also knew I had an old Bankruptcy in 2017 and stated this debt was not included in that bankruptcy and in 204 and 2020, they updated the amounts to over 3k! Stated I could dispute this and be liable for only $600, but if I lost the dispute, it would be over 3k. Then he asked if I wanted to keep this from going on my credit, and I replied that I was not paying a debt from 2009. He then hung up. Glad there are others that are saying the same thing, I know it is a scam. The first 2 reviews about the debt collection being a smooth process, are CLEARLY the scammers themselves trying to seem legit.

I'm not sure who these people are. Like the comment below me. They called saying I owed a $500 debt from back in 2022 and that the fees have increased to 2k. They gave me the creditor name which ties into different cash advance places. I don't take out cash advances. They knew all of my personal information. The person started to get hostile when I kept asking questions and when I said that I'll do my own research, he threatened to “put this on my credit” before I hung up. Don't give this company any of your banking information unless you know for sure you have a debt. I'm putting a freeze on my credit after this.

Funny how both comments are brand new… seems a little weird. Company made a robo call first requesting call back. Stated that they have attempted written communication (wouldn’t give address sent to) stated I have a debt for a payday loan $500 from Jan 2017 that I now owe and additional $2000 in fines for brining me to a grand total of $2500 with Honeywell bank. When I started to state that the statute of limitations in Ohio (which would have been my state of residence in that year) is 7 years he started yelling and cussing at me then hung up. this same company different number has made similar attempts w the same script for others I know. DO NOT give them anything. Do your research request an itemized letter (which they refuse for provide) and a copy of your original payment contact always to prove the debt is yours. They threatened to “put this on my credit” prior to hanging up.

Debt collection is never fun, made the process as painless as possible. They explained everything clearly and answered all my questions patiently. When I told them about my financial difficulties, they didn’t dismiss me or demand an immediate lump sum payment. Instead, they helped me set up a reasonable monthly payment that I could afford. They even followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly. Their kindness and professionalism made a difficult situation much easier to handle.

They let me choose a payment plan that fit my income, and I never felt forced into something I couldn’t handle. It made repaying my debt much easier.
