Company claimed that I took out a $500 cash advance back in Dec of 2020. When I asked them banking information, the lady stated there wasn't a bank involved and it was sent via Money gram. That was enough right there to tell me it was a lie (I mean it was a lie anyway because I most definitely didnt take a cash advance out at any time, not even a credit card). I have never used money gram and I haven't even used Western union in over 2 decades.
