I charged $1.00 fee on bank card which did not take charge under a normal acting no problem acct for copies of business records and card was not accepted when tried to enter on computer. Received a call same date on toll free number of 855-284-9163 stating account I used was blocked. I called ban CEO and they unblocked card. Is the toll free caller from 855 a fraud-fake caller?

Same day I received call that account was blocked, I told it was not and that it was unblocked and the caller said they show blocked and needed more info. and I told them NO that i felt the call is a fake.

Called asking for James. When I told him there was no person by that name at this number, he asked if I was selling a home or property. When I said no, he asked, what about buying?

Call was re: recent activity on our credit card. We called the # on the back of our card instead of the 855#. Rep confirmed the (855) 284-9163 was for Fraud Dept. We confirmed our subscribe and save purchases, received a one-time passcode to remove the hold on our account. Not sure why there was a problem.

NOT the customer service number on the back of my card. Suspect scammer, call your card direct.

Caller states they are from our bank checking on recent purchases as a fraud alert. Our bank says that number is not part of their system, and that department has not called us.
