This number came up as "Potential Spam" through my call filter, so I sent it to voice-mail. Called back twice, then left a message. It was an automated reminder to send back my defective phone that was replaced, but to disregard if the phone was sent. VZW always calls with random numbers, but they give an 800 number to call them back with if you want to speak to someone. I can understand why people wouldn't pick up a call from this number. I did the same thing. It WAS a legitimate and applicable phone call from Verizon Wireless.
