Its not spam its just annoying. The numerous calls are to offer a free service for United Healthcare participants. The call is for Housecalls health and wellness service. They offer to have a health care practitioner come to your home free of charge to discuss healthy lifestyle options. Participation does not affect your health care coverage. If you don't answer your phone calls from them they eventually send you a letter explaining the service.

I dont answer any numbers I don’t know anymore…. I kept getting same half a voicemail, something about hrs of operation and hearing impaired stuff etc but never who’s calling or reason why. So just googled and got a few direct results including this page. from a few other pages listed as uhc(United healthcare) trying to get a home appointment . I can’t stress enough how not to allow this to happen. My sister (who has different insurance ) isn’t all there anymore and answered a similar call a long time ago . I told her months ago to deny them any info from Now on as they just started showing up at our apartment saying “ we couldn’t get you back on the phone”…. What kind of slimy company does that after being told you’re not Interested? and they still call her confusing her where she probably has accidentally given some info to them …. And this is after telling them to stop calling , and me also one time yelling in the back ground for her to “tell them to f$&k off and leave us alone “..” you / we are not interested and you’ll never be allowed into this apartment” …. I’m assuming it’s a third party that goes through either multiple insurance companies or Medicare . Which ever it is they have to cut ties ! It’s quite intrusive and they take advantage of people who are older (sick and not mentally aware of how scams work) …if not obvious, I am furious about this … they tried using an excuse of me hiding “something “ from them so they had to come into the apartment….. let them try when I’m here ! and if I keep getting United healthcare unsolicited calls or show ups I will switch insurance right away, I don’t have to wait for specified sign up periods to change insurance . I can change every month if I want …. Or if I keep getting calls with other companies I’ll start writing my politicians and start a petition if necessary . Sorry for rambling but these scam / spam / sales calls have gotten way to far out of control.

The women who left messages and the one I spoke with briefly are very well trained and very polite...however when I called them to respond the young women was obviously reading from a script and wanted to know phone number associated with account, then name associated with account so she could "bring up my account"...at that point I hung up. If I give you the number that your supposed UHC person called me on & you need more information...sorry...buh bye...maybe legit but I have my doubts...too many questions and no substance.

Recently, after going on the do not call list, I am getting HUNDREDS of these scammer / fisher / identity thief call weekly. I do not believe "do not call" works nor do I believe that robokiller works. ALL promise to stop scams and robots, none DO, and ALL want your life history.
