Same as others, its Holley Evans and they've been hired to do an audit for a client, last chance, garnishment or jail, blah, blah, blah. Supposedly for a credit card from 2012 that we definitely, without a doubt, never had. 888-273-0409 is another number they use and give a website resmanagment.group which is of course "under construction" but conveniently points out a chat feature to contact them immediately. Such bullshit. I honestly can't wait till they call when I'm home and bored. I'm going to let them think they've hooked me and I'm sending in every dime they ask for. And I'm going to keep them looking forward to that money for just as long as I possibly can. Let them be the suckers for a change.

Zombie debt collection place that pretends that they're acting on behalf of the original company. I received a call for a debt that was discharged in Chapter 7. They somehow had the number for the job (where I originally received the call), my wife's cell phone number (the account was before I married my wife and she was never on the account), and a couple of calls to my VOIP line. I really wanted to see what their angle was but I didn't have a lot of time to listen to their pitch. But they did get as far in their script to say that I was going to be taken to court and have my wages garnished. Being up against the clock I had to break it to them that this was discharged in a bankruptcy and gave them the case number and discharge date. I then reminded them that if they did attempt to collect on this debt it would be considered contempt of court. The really sad part about this however is the debt is outside of the time to be collected on if it wasn't discharged. I also asked them if they were a debt collector and the answers were mixed. Some saying that they were acting on behalf of a client (but couldn't tell me who the client was) and others saying that the company bought the debt and they were attempting to collect. I tend to believe that they purchased the debt and they're attempting to collect on it. The use an auto-dialer. So the calls will never stop. It seems that they get any phone numbers associated with your name and will add those numbers to the bot. In my case they didn't know what the debt was for, only the name of the company that I did business with. The amount also appeared to be incorrect. I'm sure they were going to make some sort of "deal" but again I didn't have time for them to get to that part. My best advise: Check to see if the debt they're attempting to collect on is still collectible. If not go through the motions to have them stop calling and ignore them. They don't do their homework as they should have known that my debt was discharged over 10 years ago.

This "company" is now using a new number 844-649-4630. Same story as with their previous number, a threatening voicemail about litigation. Called back once and the woman who answered asked for my number and said she was at an incoming call center and had no information. Called again and a man said the call was for someone else and I shouldn't be angry about a wrong number. Called a third time asked the person who answered what company she represented. She hung up on me. Called a fourth time and the same woman said the company was P & R and it wasn't a collection agency it was a litigation firm. She gave the same name as the man and said if that wasn't me she'd remove my phone number from the list. I doubt she can since the calls are probably made at random by some sort of computer system but we'll see. I hope none of you fall for this and start providing information or becoming alarmed. If there actually is litigation involving you, you will be informed in writing on documents that clearly state the nature of the case, the attorney's representing the clients, and anything else you might need to sue their behinds off.

Hello my name is Holley. Let the record show. This message is intended for xxx . I received an order to complete an audit for a client that we represent. Therefore it is your legal rights to provide a verbal statement and you to be aware of this before any proceedings. We have made several attempts to reach you via phone and or your address that's on record and were not successful due to no response or documents were undeliverable. One final attempt will be made to your place of employment and or residence. To schedule an alternate location and or provide a statement. Please call 1-844-649-4630. Again 1-844-649-4630 regarding this matter. I did call back and gave them my number. They asked if i was xxxx I said no but there are a few of them, do you have a date of birth. They gave me my ex's dob. I told them that was my ex and they said they would remove my number. Guy i spoke to was nice. I didn't ask any info since it was for my ex and not my son. From some of the comments I am guessing they are a debt collector.

I received a call, the number was marked as potential spam so I sent it to voicemail. Holly said a company is being audited and I have a right to make a statement. Said they've made several attempts to make contact and will try the workplace or home address next. Used the name of a cousin I haven't spoken to in over a decade. Most likely a scam to scare you into calling back.

Please view this as a scam. I have been called twice picked up but did not call them back. Hopefully this is not received by a older/elderly or younger person who actually responds to the lie that you have a debt with this company. They want to steal the money that you earned from your hard work.

Multiple calls between my work and my relatives. I have called back they have an old closed credit card, have the full number too!! I asked for a website. They said not don’t one. They have private clients. I said this was paid and closed they said it’s clearly not. Then asked for a copy of my credit report!! She says you owe $1964, but pay in 30 days for $561, or pay today for $300. I said wow that’s a deal for something that’s closed!!! I asked for an address they said cannot give out. I asked how I would ever send them anything I finally got an email: [email protected] So I sent them my FTC and CPFB complaint numbers against their company I made. I even recorded one of the calls. The man told me you are going to be served and will need to appear in court to tel the judge it’s paid. REALLY! Don’t fall for these very unprofessional scammers

This is a phantom debt collection scam! This is what the Federal Trade Commission calls a phantom debt collection scam where the scammer pretends to be a debt collector, lawyer, or law enforcement and threatens to sue or arrest you using harassment (repeated phone calls), lies, threats, and intimidation to collect on fake debts that you do not owe. Although more than 95% of all North America phone scams originate from crowded phone rooms in India that run numerous fraud, extortion, and money laundering scams every day such as pretending to be fake pharmacies, posing as fake Microsoft, Amazon, and Apple representatives, and pretending to offer credit cards and student loan forgiveness, some of these phantom debt collection scams are committed by Americans, but many phantom debt scams also come from East Indians using text-to-speech translation software to generate a pre-recorded message without a foreign accent. Another version of these phantom debt collection scams is the frequent extortion scams perpetrated solely by East Indians posing as Social Security or IRS officers threatening to sue or arrest you for fake unpaid back taxes. This scam call begins with a pre-recorded message that often includes robotic text-to-speech customizations of the message to call you by your name in order to make the message sound like a personal phone call and to gain your trust. It is easy to acquire huge phone database listings of millions of names associated with phone numbers and addresses and have the robo-dialer automatically say your name. The synthesized speech may also be recorded in Spanish or Chinese to target immigrants. The pre-recorded message often mentions very vague urgent messages or legal actions and fake financial accounts that are unpaid, fake names of the debt collector handling your fake debts, or fake ID account codes for your fake debt, and they often falsely say "our numerous attempts to contact you at your home and workplace have been unsuccessful and this is our final attempt", which is all false and intended to make it sound urgent. You are then asked to either press "1" or phone them back, often at a different number since these scams spoof hundreds of fake Caller ID numbers, and then you actually speak to the East Indian scammer. The scammer then asks for your Social Security number and either tells you that you can settle the debt by paying with a credit card or demands that you wire transfer the payment for the fake debt or asks you for your bank account and routing number. Here is how to tell the difference between a real debt collector and a scammer: A debt collector must tell you information about your debt such as the name of the creditor, the exact amount owed, and if you dispute the debt, the debt collector has to obtain verification of the debt. A scammer either avoids providing this information or provides false information. A real debt collector usually mentions the name of the creditor on their first phone call. A scammer tries to sound very threatening, but mentions totally vague or fake statements. A debt collector has to mail you a printed-on-paper "validation letter" within five days of first contacting you. If you do not dispute the debt in writing within 30 days, the debt collector has the right to assume the debt is valid. Scammers always pressure you to settle the debt immediately, often demanding that you make a money transfer from you bank that can be untraceable; this is very common with East Indian scammers posing as debt collectors and fake IRS officers. A scammer may threaten to tell your family and employer about your debts, but a real debt collector can only ask other people about your address, phone number, and place of employment; they cannot tell other people about your debts. Scammers will ask for your bank account and routing numbers and Social Security number, whereas real debt collectors will not. Ask the debt collector for their name, company name, street address, and a callback number, which all real debt collectors will provide. Every one of the thousands of East Indian scammers will also immediately fail this test since all of the East Indian scammers use spoofed fake Caller ID numbers or disposable VoIP numbers. If you suspect a scam, contact the creditor the debt collector claims to be working for and find out who has been assigned to collect the debt.

Looking for a relative. Trying to scare this person into paying debt that isn’t owed. Demand they remove your number and do not even speak with them.
January 29, 2020
Received the exact same message as above just a mumbled version of my last name.
January 29, 2020
Keeps calling. For wrong name on message. Last night I called back and man answered unprofessionally and asked if I received a call from them, so I asked who he was with said PNR services so I asked what kind of company and he said process server. Today another call, called and told him wrong number and no one here and he verified my number wrong, so I said no. I attempted to give him their “case #” and he rudely told me he needed my number to take my # off list. I told him I would report it as spam then and hung up.
