Caller immediately hung up when I answered. Since I like trolling scammers, they usually hang up on me the instant a live person picks up the line. This is a red flag for me that this is just another scammer. Lots of comments report this as an IRS scam. Note the IRS will never call you. They will send you mail to the mailing address they have on file.

Fake IRS debt collector! She sounded foreign and spoke with a stilted pace, as if she was struggling to pronounce ordinary English syllables, at times pronouncing each syllable one at a time like she was some robot on sedative drugs. Then she asked me to confirm my SSN for her, and I laughed at her and said that I never received any letter from the IRS (I owe the IRS nothing and always pay my honest taxes on time) and told her to have the IRS mail me an official letter!
