They tried to take my information pretending to be insurance

They called and wanted to verify calpers pharmacy insurance renewal information. I did not entertain them but they sound very convincing. If you are a senior citizen they are so convincing that you may fall into their scam.

They have your information menus or may have been sold. They say they are from you local pharmacy or from CVS or Optum and calling about you prescriptions, not when I call my provider, they said they know nothing about the calls and didn't call me and they're have been no changes to my coverage. No idea what they want Slam me with more coverage? No idea. Never taking the call. Will always call my pharmacist, insurance, or prescription providers. Since I've done all that and none of them knew what I was talking about. I block all the numbers they use. And never answer. My insurance would message me with the app or send a letter.

The caller ID comes up as optimum rxclinical and the person will say that they are a pharmacist and they are calling regarding your insurance coverage. They are a fraud. Do not answer block them and call your insurance directly to find out if there's any issues with your coverage.
