Stated she had an important personal business matter, and was asking for me to verify my personal information. Would not go past that. Told her I thought it was a scam. She gave me this # to call back. Told her I probably would not and hung up.

Scam

this scam number (844) 362-3130 has called me every weekday for the past 2 weeks, but did not once leave a voice message (red flag #1) . I returned their call today and their call lobby does not mention their organization (red flag #2). It just says "Thank You for Calling. One Moment While We Forward Your Call". Then a few moments later, a woman with an Indian accent and a really bad phone connection answers the phone and asks "How can I help You?" (Red Flag #3) ....Confused, I told them that they had been calling me every day but not leaving any voice messages. Then she says, "oh yes, is this (my name)?" I replied "yes" and she goes "okay, my name is (whatever her name was) calling with American Medical Response. Before we answer any questions, can you please confirm your address?" The phone connection was so bad that I didn't hear what company she was calling from so I asked her to repeat it. She said it really fast. "American Medical Response?" I echoed, very confused. Then IMMEDIATELY she said "Ma'am, you need to confirm your address with us before we proceed." She came off so strong so soon and it didn't sit well with me that she was asking for my address before she could answer any questions. Nothing about the conversation felt like it was really from the American Medical Response- the weird phone number, not leaving any voice messages, and the woman pestering me for my address before she could give me any answers about anything. So I hung up and looked up the American Medical Response phone number through google which showed me a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER. So I immediately knew it was a scammer and blocked the number from my phone.
