I live in Washington state and have received two calls in two days. My wife and I use a local pharmacy when necessary, not one 3000 miles away in South Carolina. Does that even make sense? Without any evidense, the only connection I can make is that I started watching Tubi recently. I did not sign-up. Therefore, I did not willingly, or knowingly provide any information to them. The "FREE" part of using this service is putting up with a lot of GoodRx commercials among others. Is there a connection? Is there a third party? Who is selling our personal information? It appears to be data harvesting and/or solicitation. Either way it's unwanted. Somebody is likely selling and buying data that, in my opinion, does not belong to them. That is, I always felt that I owned my personal data unless I gave explicit permission for that data to be used by a business or in a commercial manner. Am I not entitled to receive payment for each sale of MY personal information? Where's a lawyer (read class action suit) when you need one?

Refilled my scripts with GoodRx card for less.

This is legitimate. I called the main BCBS number to verify. The call is coming from OptumRx, the pharmacy benefits company. BCBS understood my concern about not knowing whether or not the call is legitimate. They said there is a way to opt out of these calls, but when I called the (843) 883-2246 number back, there was no way to speak with someone to opt out. I called the main BCBS number again and spoke with someone else; they are contacting OptumRx to find out how we can opt out.

Something about a refill reminder message.

Claimed to be BCBS, but didn't specify WHY they were calling. If there's not a corresponding email, best to be careful.
