Claimed to be Anthem Healthkeepers and that I needed to "call to follow up." However, calling the official member service on the back of the card, the rep said they didn't know what that number was and there was no record of Anthem calling. The call felt weird since they left a disclaimer about how the number was wrongly being flagged as fraud or spam, but it does seem to be some sort of scam for people to give their information.

Claimed to be my health insurance carrier and wanted to confirm information on account. Asked to confirm his birthday, then his address. I stated that since he was just enrolled a month ago, they should have it. Told the rep I was uncomfortable giving out additional info and would call the carrier's member service number. She said not to and call the number she was calling from. Called my insurance carrier and it was not them!
