Unsolicited call has recording saying they are "Satander Bank". I have never used this bank for anything! Strike 1! Smelling a scam, I play along with the call and some dude with a foreign accent immediately asks me to verify my Social Security number! No unsolicited call from a bank will every ask you for your SSN! Strike 2!! I purposely give the scammer a fake SSN using random numbers. Dude does not realize that I am counterscamming him lol. Then he asks for my credit card number. I reply, "Which credit card, I have more than 40 credit cards." (which is false) He replies, "Your Visa card number." I reply, "Which Visa card? I have 6 Visa cards." (which is again contrived lol) Instead of asking specifically for my "Santander" credit card number (which he is supposedly calling about), he just says, "Tell me all of them." I then tell him 4 sets of random numbers beginning with 4 as fake Visa card numbers just to f*k with him. This goes on for another 10 minutes until he shouts some profanities at me and hangs up lmao. This may be a valid call, but for me, this was a scam!
