I just got this call. I ignored it and then went onto Spectrums site which gives information on how to tell if a call from them is a scam. I called back and followed Spectrum guidelines, and turns out this was a LEGITIMATE call from Spectrum about a service issue in my area that may require technician to visit

I have received an email to call and schedule an appointment via (833) 778-2754. This number is not a scam. It's really a Spectrum technical service.

I received a text and an email almost simultaneously about calling this number. The email had my account number. I called and first went through an automated system and then got a live person who scheduled a visit for 3 days from now to check "signal strength." There was no attempt to gather any other information. It was a straight forward business call. If there is a problem, I'll report again in 3 days.
