Scam
I want to alert everyone about a scam text message I received claiming to be an “Apple Security Notification” about an Apple Pay transaction for $143.95 at “Apple Store – CA.” The message was sent from the email address ficfjx61429@163.com and instructs recipients to call +1 (833) 678-6007. This is a phishing attempt. Do not respond, do not call the number, and do not share any personal or financial information. Apple does not send security alerts from random email addresses via iMessage. Please stay alert and report these messages to Apple to help protect others from fraud.
