Text message from 855-970-8980 to call 833-641-6706 to pay a balance of $55.34. Called their main number 888-492-7742. They confirmed that was the amount that was owed. They did not recognize the phone number from the text - BUT - the person I spoke to at 833-641-6706 left a note on my account, and the lady at the main number saw that note. So, this is a legit number. As to the problems everyone else was having, it doesn't surprise me as Apria is terribly unorganized.

Received a text message claiming to be Apria just a few days after placing my CPAP order. "Call 833-641-6706 to set up payment". This is NOT Apria. Do NOT call.

Asian male saying he was from Apria calling on a recorded line. Immediately asked for my date of birth. Hung up.

Received a text message with this number in the body claiming to be Apria. Reviewed my Apria account and no balance was owed.

Like the other comments, got phone/voice mail call asking to call back to settle outstanding balance. Called Apria on different number and confirmed that there was no balance. Apria also confirmed that the number was not affiliated with them.

Just like the other comments said, it's a message that claims to be Apria but isn't from any previous number that Apria has used for its automated messages. It's a scam. ALWAYS check on the Apria website for any outstanding balances.

Sent text message claiming to be Apria Healthcare asking for a call back to set up a payment option for a bill I did not have. Scam.

Number is not on Apria's website. Text message sent saying "call 833.641.6706 to set up a payment method for your $211.99 balance due." I logged into the Apria bill pay website and verified that I have no balance. Scam.
