This number called my mom demanding her social security number and claiming that she would lose her social security if she did not provide her number.

Caller ID actually showed "potential spam". Message gave instructions to "appear before the magistrate" (but didn't specify which magistrate out of the 10 or 12 in the county). There was also mention of needing a social security number.
