I just got a call from this number and actually answered, like others have said it was a woman with an accent who asked for me by name. She then said she was with my providers office with banner health which I knew. Then it was scam as they didn't say the doctor's name which my facility always does. She said that she wanted to verify insurance information they had on file for my new baby. She asked if it was a good time to verify the info or she should call back later, I told her I was busy and that the information had been updated in the office and was accurate. Then hung up. Seems to be fishing for insurance information, would probably have asked for date of birth and social information if I had continued talking to her.

I got a call from this number - +1 (833) 571-1864 - and because it came up as scam likely, I ignored it. A voicemail was left claiming to be a Women’s hospital where I just gave birth. However the person had an accent, which I know is not a tell-all sign of a scam, but that same person kept asking for me in the voicemail — “Am I speaking with ‘my name’?” Then they were like appears you can’t hear us so please give a call back. Like clearly this is my voicemail, so it seemed odd they didn’t speak in such a manner. And the number provided to call back was different from the number called from, and they’re both toll-free numbers. Anyway, I won’t be calling them back but I will call the hospital directly in case there’s been a leak of patient information that scammers are trying to take advantage of. And if they truly were trying to reach me somehow for any reason, I know I’ve called a legit number.
