I called thr Member Services nimber on yhe back of my call and yhe were mot able to confirm that the nimber was theres. Furthermore HIPAA doesn't require you to verify your identity if you are discussing your satisfaction. It requires them to prove who they are before they ask you about your care or disclse information. If they called you they should have your name, address and birthdate

'Elevance Health' (aka 'ANTHEM') asking for DOB to 'confirm identity' - sounds very phishy - don't provide info, cancel the call.

Calls from this, "ANTHEM" and "Private Number" try to get / "confirm" date of birth and/or ask for callback to a different number, with the same intent. It's a phishing scam.
