Got a call saying I am being taken to court for an outstanding debt and they wanted my information. When I said this is a scam, they argued calling me some curse words in broken English and hung up.

Called my mother and told her that I needed to contact them about a pending legal matter. When I called them, they told me it was for a $300 loan that I apparently took out 7 years ago and that I have a court date on Tuesday (it's always on a Tuesday) but they won't tell me what court to go to or what time. They get extremely hateful on the phone when I ask for any type of proof and demand that I pay them to cancel the court date and time (which again they will not give me time or place)

They called my husband and told him that they filed a complaint against me because i have a credit card in collection since 2018 and they want me to pay. That they will take proceed to taking me to court. I called the credit card company and I owe nothing to anyone, nor I have any debts. This is a scam!!
