Amanda at Brightspeed called my Mom at (833) 326-1077. Wanting her credit card # to switch service to their new gold line service they are installing. I called the # and its a Brightspeed recorded response saying someone will be with me shortly. Then the call drops. Total scam. Thank God my Mom does not have her CC information.

This number called me to try and get me to switch from Brightspeed to whatever "their" totally legit internet plan is. I don't even use Brightspeed.

They claim that Brightspeed is going bankrupt and want you to switch to their company and can offer you better rates and want personal information about your account. This is most likely a spoofed number trying to obtain information from Brightspeed customers.

I don't think this is a legit number, they call literally everyday but I've never answered. I called a number for Brightspeed i know is legit and asked them if my Brightspeed account is in good standings and they said everything is fine. I then gave them the number that keeps calling, and they said they don't recognize it.

This number repeatedly called over several days and did not leave a voicemail. Answered today and they said they are from Brightspeed and checking why I cancelled their service. And asked me questions about what Internet I’m currently with etc. The guy did not sound like a real customer service rep. I googled the number after the call and the number does not belong to brightspeed.
